Role Summary:
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Junior Health Specialist to ensure the well-being and safety of employees, contractors, and members of the public on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and distributing comprehensive Risk Assessments, Method Statements & Site-Specific Safety Statements in consultation with site managers
- Conducting regular Environmental Health & Safety inspections
- Delivering EHS Training for Employees
- Promptly investigating, recording, and reporting accidents and near misses, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented without delay
- Reviewing sub-contractors' Safety Statements and Compliance Reports
- Attending regular site Health & Safety Meetings
Requirements:
- Level 7 or 8 Qualification
- Full Driving License
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and develop effective control measures
A strong focus on safety and compliance, along with excellent problem-solving skills, are essential for this role.
Safety audits, risk assessments, and health and safety compliance are crucial skills for this position.
