Anesthesia Specialist

This position involves delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery.

• Thoroughly assess, plan, evaluate, and implement anesthetic management for all patients requiring anesthesia services. Ensure accurate medical record documentation.
• Continuously monitor patients under anesthesia and respond promptly to any abnormal responses. Collaborate with attending physicians regarding care plans and clinical decisions outside the CRNA's scope.
• Contribute to and develop performance and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain adherence to legal and ethical standards for nursing and adhere to guidelines set by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Provide clinical support to the healthcare team and may mentor new staff or students.

• Minimum qualifications: current PA RN license, certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists, CPR – American Heart Association, Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance, Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Clearance, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association.
• Preferred qualification: prior CRNA experience.
