Maintenance Operative Job Description

  • Carry out routine inspections and repairs of refrigeration systems and warehouse equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on building infrastructure to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Diagnose mechanical faults using technical expertise and troubleshooting skills.
  • Support the safe and efficient running of all plant equipment by conducting regular checks and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with external contractors as required to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records to facilitate effective planning and decision-making.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of maintenance duties across the site. This includes routine inspections and repairs of refrigeration systems and warehouse equipment, preventative maintenance on building infrastructure, diagnosing mechanical faults, supporting the safe and efficient running of all plant equipment, collaborating with external contractors as necessary, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
