Senior PMO Lead

Job Opportunity

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and embed project management processes, supporting the delivery of diverse projects.

As Senior PMO Lead, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure strong governance, oversight, and continuous improvement in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance PMO methodologies and frameworks.

Provide strategic guidance on project monitoring and control.

Drive best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Collaborate with senior management to align projects with organisational objectives.

Support project managers with guidance, mentorship, and training.

Introduce and implement PMO IT systems and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree (Level 8 NFQ or equivalent) in business, engineering, or project management.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project, programme, or PMO management.
  • Recognised project management qualification or professional membership.
  • Proven leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to travel as required.

Desirable: experience with project management software, knowledge of public sector project frameworks, or cross-jurisdictional work.
