Operations Associate Role

The Operations Graduate programme offers a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team and take your career to the next level. As an Operations Associate, you will gain valuable experience in a fast-paced food production environment while building your skills in problem-solving, continuous improvement, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply best practice safety systems in a busy production setting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize lean/6 sigma techniques to drive process improvements and resolve complex problems.
  • Manage shifts effectively, learning production processes and working with experienced operators to meet quality and throughput targets.
  • Lead daily shift handovers, ensure meeting objectives are met, and facilitate open communication among team members.
  • Drive team performance through coaching, feedback, and training, and optimize multi-skilling across the team.
Requirements:
  • A strong academic record in Engineering, Food Science, or related discipline; minimum 2.2 honours primary degree.
  • Strong ambition to progress in operations and production, with a focus on customer-centric solutions.
  • Commercial thinking, collaboration, clear communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to continually learn and grow, with a desire to execute change and develop creative insights.

This role involves rotations to different sites during the 2-year programme, providing opportunities for growth and development. You will report to Production Managers and be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence.
