Job Title: Van Delivery Driver

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Van Delivery Driver to join our team. This role will involve driving a company van safely to and from worksites and depots.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive company vehicle safely to and from worksites and depots.
  • Assist with road maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, litter picking, cleaning signage, hedge trimming, and other upkeep duties along road networks.
  • Operate basic tools and equipment safely (training provided).
  • Carry out general site maintenance and ensure work areas are safe and tidy.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A full B driving licence with at least 6 months' driving experience is desirable.
  • No prior road maintenance or landscaping experience is required – full training will be given.
  • The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions is essential.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude are necessary for success in this role.
  • Flexibility to work on-call shifts when required is also essential.

Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Standard shifts:Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30Friday: 06:00 – 14:30.
  • Availability for on-call duties outside of normal hours is required.
