Career Opportunity: Complementary Therapy Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role in managing the provision of complementary therapies to children and teens within a Haematology/Oncology setting. As a Complementary Therapy Lead, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of these therapies and working closely with all staff members, including the Palliative Care team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for delivering high-quality complementary therapies to children and teens.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of complementary therapies into patient care.
  • IDentify opportunities for improving therapy delivery and develop plans to address these needs.
  • Ensure that all therapies are provided in a safe and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy delivery and patient outcomes.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse or Midwife with at least 5 years post-registration experience.
  • Qualification in a complementary therapy, such as massage, reflexology, or aromatherapy.
  • Experience in providing complementary therapies to children and teens.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
