Advanced RF Product Engineer

The ideal candidate for this position will have a deep understanding of RF product engineering and be able to leverage their knowledge of signal processing, embedded software, and verification practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Characterize pre-release silicon encompassing the total solution including analog, digital, and firmware algorithms.
  • Collaborate with design, systems, software, and applications engineering teams to gather data needed for hardware release and supporting datasheet.
  • Develop verification and characterization test plans and write software to automate data collection process.
  • Perform lab analysis and evaluation of new silicon and software, working with a multi-functional team to identify and correct functional and parametric problems.
  • Take silicon and embedded software from early development stage to full production release.
  • Develop and operate an RF-centric characterization bench.
  • Interact directly with field sales/applications as well as customers to resolve product issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 3+ years' experience working in wireless transceiver or telecommunications industry
  • Knowledgeable in RF measurements and signal processing
  • Familiarity with embedded software and verification practices
  • Highly skilled in debug of complex RF & transceiver system issues
  • Knowledge of programming languages (LabVIEW, C#, Python, and TestStand are preferred)
  • Strong communication skills are required
  • Intelligence, enthusiasm, and a solid work ethic are extremely valuable for this position
