Experience Required Night Porter

We are seeking a diligent and organized night porter to join our team at the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore.

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with the reception staff to ensure seamless customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the main door at night, verifying guests' room cards before entry into the late bar.
  • Provide exceptional service to residents at the late bar.
  • Process cash handling procedures as trained.
  • Check in late-arriving guests and take walk-in reservations, processing full payment and collecting credit card details.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy lobby and surrounding areas.
  • Answer calls on Reception or divert them to mobile when away from the desk.
  • Conduct fire walks during each shift and sign logs.
  • Make prompt wake-up calls.
  • Complete nightly audits.
