Portfolio Manager Position

This is an exciting career opportunity for a motivated individual to join our investment team as a Portfolio Manager.

About the Role

The successful candidate will collaborate with the team to develop and implement comprehensive investment strategies across diverse asset classes.

  • Reporting to the Head of Manager Selection & Derivatives, the successful candidate will work closely with the team to devise and execute innovative investment plans.
  • With extensive exposure to top-tier hedge funds and third-party asset managers in the alternatives space, this role offers the chance to learn from experienced professionals and grow your career in a leading financial institution.
  • You will have the opportunity to work on directly managed strategies and engage research projects, refining your analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing investment strategies in collaboration with the team.
  • Analyzing data and making informed assessments to guide investment decisions.
  • Communicating effectively with internal & external stakeholders and investment partners on a regular basis.
  • Working autonomously and being self-motivated to continually improve your knowledge and skills.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should:

  • Possess a strong academic record and relevant work experience, preferably in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Actuarial, Accountancy or Data Analysis.
  • Have 5-10 years of relevant work experience, with a keen desire to deepen your understanding of investing and related markets.
  • Be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in financial markets and the investment industry.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
