Role Summary
We're seeking a skilled Project Performance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Data and Project Analyst Team, you will work alongside project delivery teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include managing the collection, cleaning, and validation of data from various internal and external sources, developing, analysing and maintaining corporate datasets, working with other Project Controls disciplines to ensure alignment of project information, providing guidance and advice on data quality issues to a wide variety of data providers, carrying out variance and trend analytics on corporate datasets, creating and maintaining project performance reports and dashboards, preparing presentations and other materials for client performance governance forums, challenging the data to ensure it is realistic, robust and stands up to scrutiny, providing performance observations to relevant stakeholders and management, to support effective decision making, performing detailed data analysis and generating analytical insights, collaborating with the Data and Project Analyst Team Lead to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights, identifying, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets, contributing to the development of clear and concise public and internal reports/presentations etc. to inform various stakeholders, and ensuring thorough use of systems to monitor, manage and ensure the highest level of project delivery.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics or Computer Science, and 3-5 years of professional experience working as a Data/BI Analyst in a similar role. You should have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP and other functions such as INDEX/MATCH, and experience using Power BI or other Data Analytics tools to create and maintain interrogatable dashboards. Strong SQL skills and the ability to forge effective relationships with stakeholders and interfacing functions are also essential. Understanding of data warehousing, data architecture and data models is desirable.
