Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Compliance Officer in executing the firm's compliance programme.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of EU or UK rules and regulations applicable to financial entities, as well as experience working with regulators such as CBI or FCA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing oversight of and contributing to the firm's Compliance Programme, specifically with reference to IOSCO's Principles for Financial Benchmarks, the UK and EU Benchmarks Regulation (BMR).
  • Fostering a culture of compliance to laws and regulations.
  • Collaborating with various business functions, legal, risk management, internal audit, and information security to maintain, implement, and develop compliance policies and procedures.
  • Advising on compliance matters.
  • Developing and performing testing and monitoring of control activities to ensure adherence to rules and policies.
  • Contributing to compliance investigations and reviews.
  • Actively participating in oversight and advisory committees.
  • Reviewing index methodologies, consultations; and other relevant notices.
  • Supporting the Index Governance Committee.
  • Facilitating compliance training.
  • Preparing reports, presentations and metrics.
  • Liaising with regulators from time to time.
