">We are seeking a skilled Cloud Microservices Software Engineer to join our team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software applications using cloud-native technologies.
In this role, you will work with cutting-edge development tools and languages, including the latest evolutions of Java and Internal Developer Platforms. You will collaborate with experienced software developers and technology experts to design solutions for new features on our microservices platform.
You will also have the opportunity to enhance product quality and user experience by working as part of a team to meet deliverables and goals. This is a hybrid position based in Ireland, requiring 3 days per week on-site at our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications
- Collaborate with team members to meet deliverables and goals
- Enhance product quality and user experience
- Work with software architects and technology experts on technology development and evolution
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2-6 years of experience developing software applications, with microservice development preferred
- Experience with Java software development language, including Enterprise or Spring framework
- Experience with test automation using industry-standard automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Docker/Containerisation and Kubernetes, including knowledge of Helm
- Ability to communicate technical ideas through whiteboarding and C4 diagrams
- Knowledge of message bus technologies, databases, and data management
