Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our team in a dynamic production environment.

This full-time, permanent role involves working closely with supervisors to ensure the efficient operation of production machines during designated shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting supervisors to maintain smooth machine operations
  • Troubleshooting, refining processes, and resolving equipment breakdowns
  • Removing and setting up molds in machines as required
  • Maintaining compliance with documented specifications
  • Assisting supervisors to ensure seamless production department operations
  • Contributing to overall company performance in areas such as Output, Quality, Safety, People Management, and Cost
  • Collaborating with shift production supervisors to optimize production output and adhere to quality standards
  • Organizing and planning production to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitoring and reviewing production output, machine performance, quality, reject levels, and resource deployment
  • Providing leadership and communication skills to the team
  • Ensuring adequate materials are available throughout the shift
  • Overseeing employee training and maintaining accurate records
  • Ensuring timely refreshment of training where necessary
  • Creating a safe and injury-free work environment
  • Ensuring adherence to cleanroom and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Maintaining company policies and procedures
  • Informing management of issues and concerns in a timely manner

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in similar manufacturing roles within fast-paced environments
  • Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., QQI Level 6, Diploma, or equivalent in engineering, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing disciplines) are desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience in GMP-regulated environments is desirable
  • Basic understanding of injection molding, silicone molding, or automated assembly processes is desirable
