Board Member with Mental Health Expertise

The role of a Board Trustee is to provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organization's operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mental health and residential care, with a strong understanding of adolescent mental health issues.
As a trustee, you will be responsible for attending regular Board meetings, participating in committees and strategic initiatives, and building effective relationships with other Board Members to support the organization's success.
You will also be expected to share your professional expertise and contribute to the development of clinical governance policies and procedures.
">Required Skills & Qualifications">- Qualification as a Psychologist
- Minimum 5 years of Clinical Practice Experience
- Experience or Volunteering in Adolescent Mental Health and Residential Care within the Non-Profit/Voluntary Sector
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with other Board Members and staff to achieve the organization's goals.

Essential Skills/Experience:- Qualified & Accredited Psychologist

- Ensure clinical policies meet legal, ethical, and best practice standards
- Advise the Board on clinical governance issues
- Set strategic direction and ensure resource adequacy
- Participate in meetings, uphold confidentiality, and follow organizational policies
