Job Description

We're seeking a Development Technology Lead to engineer the future of finance with us. This role will lead a high-quality engineering team to manage and improve Citi's core banking platform. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing high-speed feature development on AWS and strong engineering team management capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers to enhance, manage, and run the core banking platform
  • Engage with Product Owners, Architects, and squad members to understand APIs and events
  • Coordinate with solution providers to ensure requirements are delivered on-time and with quality
  • Manage and inspire a high-quality team of engineers

This role involves:

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Significant experience in managing high-speed feature development on AWS
  • Java programming knowledge (non-negotiable)
  • Strong knowledge of Distributed transactions, Kafka (non-negotiable)
