About the Role
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled IT professional to join a dynamic sports organization as a Technical Support Specialist. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support to maintain, manage, and repair IT systems.
Responsibilities:
- Hardware and Software Installation: Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Cybersecurity and Compliance: Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection requirements to safeguard sensitive information.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner, diagnose and troubleshoot IT-related issues through data analysis, and repair or replace equipment as necessary.
Requirements:
- Education: A relevant third-level qualification in Computer Science or Computing is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS environments is essential.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and meet strict deadlines.
