Medication Technician Job Opportunity

Dublin Square seeks certified medication technicians for medication administration roles.

As a medication technician, you will deliver high-quality care and oversee resident well-being in an assisted living and memory care community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop positive working relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
  • Promote and protect residents' rights, treating them with dignity and respect.
  • Attend in-service programs and obtain continuing education as required by state regulations.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor under stressful conditions.
  • Protect residents' confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional appearance adhering to the community's dress code.
  • Document information in an informative and descriptive manner.
  • Report changes in a resident's condition to supervisors promptly.
  • Complete work schedules and assigned tasks according to established policies and procedures.
  • Use equipment safely and only operate equipment previously trained on.
  • Utilize infection control precautions with all activities.
  • Be familiar with fire and emergency procedures and report safety violations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
  • Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a safe environment caring for seniors without posing a threat to self or others.
  • Team player with ability to promote a team environment.
