Job Title: Security Intelligence Analyst

 

As a Security Intelligence Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assessing and addressing threats against Google Ads accounts in the hijacking space. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to adapt products and defenses against new threat vectors, ensuring a safe experience for users and advertisers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build early warning alerts for novel and changing threats by researching attacker operations and interactions with our systems.
  • Provide detailed and actionable qualitative and quantitative understanding of the Ads account takeover threat landscape.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to implement security intelligence into prevention and detection systems.
  • Collaborate with a team of analysts to assess and address threats against Google Ads accounts in the hijacking space.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • 5 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in a technical field (computer science, engineering, math, physics, cyber security).
  • Experience with SQL, R, Python, or C++ is also desirable.
