Environmental Monitoring Technician

Responsibilities

The QC Micro Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Performing bioburden and endotoxin sample analysis
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Acceptance testing of commercially prepared microbiological culture media
  • Assisting in the design and setup of the QC microbiology laboratory
  • Selecting, implementing, and calibrating laboratory instruments
  • Participating in microbiological validations for drug substances, in-process controls, buffers, and clean utilities qualification programs

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microbiological testing principles and procedures, as well as experience with laboratory clean-rooms and sample analysis.

A Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required. 2+ years of validated experience in a related field is preferred.
