Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in planning, managing, and delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Occupational Therapy, with experience in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. You will be responsible for leading the development of our OT service, maintaining professional standards based on evidence-based practice, and creating an ethics-based OT service delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development of the OT service and key standards of practice.
  • Maintain and track KPIs to include waiting list, caseloads, MDT input etc.
  • Develop and maintain professional standards based on evidence-based practice.
  • Create and maintain an ethics-based OT service delivery.
  • Generate a quality driven service supporting service owner health and wellbeing.
  • Maximize service owners active involvement in the development of their care pathway.
  • Review OT caseload management to ensure safe and efficient service outcomes.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • A 3rd level qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with CORU as an Occupational Therapist.
  • A minimum two year full time post qualification clinical experience.
  • A full clean driving license and access to a car.
  • Previous health service experience, ideally in the ID sector.
  • Evidence of participation in continued professional development.
  • A working knowledge of HIQA Standards as they apply to ID services.
