Senior Civil Engineer - Water Sector

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in the water sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects that make a real difference to our communities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior civil engineer with experience in the water/wastewater industry to join us. You will be responsible for developing technical solutions and providing advice to our clients. Your expertise will ensure that projects are delivered to cost, schedule, and quality standards.

You will work collaboratively amongst multi-disciplinary teams to ensure first-class delivery of our projects. You will also work closely with external stakeholders and clients to develop long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to meet client needs
  • Provide expert advice on water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical professionals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Significant experience working in the regulated water industry
  • Chartered status (e.g., IEI, ICE, CIWEM)
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment
  • Experience in areas such as Wastewater Treatment, Trunk Mains, and Large Diameter Pipeline Design
