Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test Manager to oversee the testing process for various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing offshore test delivery teams and creating test strategies, plans, and reports.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple testing projects by performing requirement analysis, creating test strategies, designing tests, and documenting results.
  • Provide detailed estimates for test efforts and resources required.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and work breakdown structures to allocate resources and schedule tasks.
  • Ensure timely delivery of tests against agreed schedules, proactively driving forward test activities to ensure progress.
  • Track and forecast project test costs and labor hours.
  • Promote automation in test teams and applications by engaging with Automation Shared Service.
  • Oversee all test phases to guarantee smooth and high-quality deliveries.
  • Manage and escalate RAID ( Risks, Assumptions, Dependencies) with mitigation plans.
  • Take overall accountability for closing test defects.
  • Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills, effectively supporting and directing offshore test analysts/leads/managers.
  • Participate in regular meetings with project managers to communicate accomplishments, plans, and issues, as well as any risks to project progress.
  • Skilled in Jira/Zephyr for Test and Defect Management (test scenarios/cases, defects, reporting) and other tools like Confluence.
  • Monitor and manage metrics according to Test Metrics and KPIs.
  • Engage and manage stakeholders including UAT and NFT test teams, working closely with PMs to ensure expectations are met.
  • Implement appropriate test processes and methodologies, enhancing them where necessary.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Test Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Jira/Zephyr and other relevant testing tools.
