X-Ray Specialist

As a Radiographer, you will be working in a busy hospital setting, providing a high-quality radiography service to patients. The Diagnostic Imaging Department provides services to both inpatients and outpatients, including General and Emergency Radiography, CT, Fluoroscopy, and Ultrasound.
Key Responsibilities:- Work as a member of the Radiography Department, collaborating with a dedicated team of Radiographers.
- Provide a high-quality radiography service to patients in assigned areas, adhering to professional standards of practice.
- Maintain high standards in patient care and radiographic techniques, ensuring adherence to radiation protection principles.
- Comply with statutory directives and keep clinical and technical knowledge up to date.
The role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as an enthusiastic attitude and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you must hold a Diploma/Degree of Radiography and be CORU registered. You should also have knowledge of the RIS system and experience with on-call services.
Additionally, you should possess strong awareness of Radiation Safety and Health & Safety regulations, current knowledge of Diagnostic Radiography theory and practice, and excellent self-management and teamwork abilities.
