About the Role:You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating theatre suite/endoscopy suite, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
The successful candidate will have 2 years' experience in theatre nursing, a relevant theatre qualification, and Basic Life Support Training. You will also be required to register with the General Division of the Register of Nurses kept by NMBI or be entitled to be so registered.
- Assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care in the endoscopic room.
- Preparing equipment and instruments according to individual patient needs and Consultant Surgeon/Gastroenterologist preferences.
- Ensuring effective teamwork by good communication with all members of the multidisciplinary team to enable continuity of care and a safe environment for patients and staff, following local protocols and standards.
