As a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in our finance team. We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated individual to maintain and support sales and purchase ledgers, reconcile customer accounts, and manage communication on overdue balances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial records by performing daily cash reconciliations and posting to the nominal ledger.
  • Support the Customer Service team with account-related queries, including issuing customer credits.
  • Handle staff expense reconciliation and processing.
  • Provide general accounts support and assist with ad-hoc finance tasks.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an accounts role is essential.
  • Strong reconciliation and financial processing skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of journals and general accounting practices is expected.
  • Experience with SAP Business One is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisation, accuracy, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
