Interim Financial Leadership Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the financial function and team for an interim period. Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible for the financial reporting function and oversee a talented team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial reporting: oversight of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Statutory accounts preparation: responsible for the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
  • Solvency II regulatory returns: responsible for Solvency II regulatory returns
  • Financial planning: manage and oversee the financial planning process
  • Internal control environment: maintain a strong internal control environment
  • Regulatory capital requirements: monitor the regulatory capital requirements
  • Treasury activities: manage the treasury activities
  • Cash flow forecasting: manage cash flow and forecasting
  • Tax obligations: ensure compliance with all tax obligations
  • Reporting to Board and Exec meetings: produce and present reports for the Board and local Exec meetings
  • Financial awareness: raise awareness of financial issues across the business
  • Auditor relationships: manage the relationship with external auditors
  • Finance team leadership: lead and mentor the finance team
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant
  • Strong finance leadership experience - managing finance functions/teams/reporting
  • Experience reporting into group function and presenting to Board/Exec level
