Sustainability Engineer Role

Our client, a leader in sustainable engineering, is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving eco-friendly and sustainable practices in projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct LEED assessments and manage certification processes to ensure projects achieve desired sustainability ratings.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to integrate sustainable design solutions from concept through to construction.
- Develop and evaluate sustainable design strategies, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and materials selection.
- Perform environmental and energy modeling, providing insights on the most impactful sustainability measures.
- Monitor industry trends, staying up-to-date with advances in sustainable practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a sustainability engineering role, ideally within a consultancy setting.
- LEED accreditation is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of sustainable building certifications and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., IES, EnergyPlus) and sustainable analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Experience within a consultancy environment is highly advantageous.
