Job Summary:

The Commercial Operations Leader will be responsible for leading the team providing day-to-day support to the Independent Business Sales Leadership Team and Commercial Finance Manager. This includes analysing information needs and functional requirements, delivering high-quality commercial support to ensure customer service delivery and confidence.

Main Responsibilities:

Leading the team: Provide day-to-day support to the Independent Business Sales Leadership Team and Commercial Finance Manager, ensuring consistent and high-quality commercial support to stakeholders.Fully conversant with systems, processes and routines: Understand all pricing and margin management within the customer segment, owning and maintaining SOPs and policy documents representing current best practice.Maintain best practice standards: Act as a role model for colleagues, demonstrating excellence in output standards and commitment at all times.Review insights and prepare analysis: Continually review current insights, prepare new analysis on commercial trends within Independent Business, and lead robust analysis supporting prioritisation of profit-enhancing opportunities.Support governance, control and automation: Create safeguards for future revenues through the development, improvement, and execution of pricing control activities.Bottom-up assessment and appraisal: Identify processes that can be automated or streamlined, developing and executing project plans to implement automation.Serve as a key link between the team and Business Technology: Requirements flow through this link, collaborating with stakeholders to build and establish working relationships.Assist in the development and delivery of operational training and coaching: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, leading and monitoring team meetings to identify issues and close off actions in a timely fashion.Complete HR time management sign-off weekly: Ensure timely sign-off for payroll and update holiday tracker at all times.
