Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's and/or Doctorate level professional qualification in Psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland, as well as Chartered membership or eligibility.

The successful candidate will provide holistic assessment and direct support and guidance to service-users and staff alike. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support Planning: Support students/service users and staff to identify personal goals and learning needs.
  • Psychological Assessment: Undertake psychological assessments using data from psychological tests, interviews, and observations.
  • Psychological Intervention & Support: Design and implement high-quality psychological interventions based on evidence-based practice and the principles of recovery.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of work experience in Learning Disability/Autism/Mental Health/Physical or Sensory Disability. An understanding of the Recovery Approach and Person Centred Planning would be an advantage.
