Furniture Technician Job Summary

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality repairs for customers, ensuring their furniture is restored to its original condition.

  • Handle customer work orders efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate with scheduled customers between 8 am and 10 am to confirm appointment details.
  • Perform scheduled calls throughout the day to complete repairs.
  • Execute quality repairs, including leather repair and touch-up, fabric repair or sewing, reclining mechanism replacement, wood burn-in and touch-up, and furniture frame repairs and reinforcements.
  • Conduct thorough bedding inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Order parts as needed and document comments from customers' homes.
  • Finalize billing notes, including symptoms, work performed, parts used, and labor costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
