About the Position

We are looking for a seasoned Security Incident Response Team Lead to join our Information Security team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of SIRT Security Engineers in responding to security events, conducting analysis of threats, and providing security services to safeguard highly sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of SIRT Security Engineers in responding to security incidents.
  • Developing and implementing security engineering solutions and providing support during customer-facing incidents.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop pragmatic solutions that balance business requirements with risk management.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance incident response capabilities and developing recommendations for improvement.
  • Mentoring junior Information Security engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging security trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field and 5+ years of experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in a security-related role.
  • Expertise in security monitoring, log analysis, and forensic tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team in digital forensics and incident response.
