Key Position Summary

About the Role

This is a high-level C/C++ engineer position that involves creating validation strategies and executing end-to-end validation processes to ensure software quality and performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement automated validation frameworks and tools.
  • Investigate and document defects for improvement purposes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.
  • Perform thorough testing and analysis of results, then document findings.
  • Conduct quality assurance, risk assessment, and collaborate with product teams.
  • Evaluate products against department specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and integrate them into our approach.
  • Develop and maintain C/C++ applications using data structures and algorithms that interact with REST APIs.
  • Write scripts in Shell, Perl, and Python to automate tasks and processes.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with existing scripts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for automation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Proficiency in scripting with Shell, Perl, and/or Python.
  • Experience working with UNIX and/or LINUX platforms.
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Working knowledge of REST API principles and integrations.
  • Familiarity with validation principles, methodologies, and regulations.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
