Scientist Pathology and Histology Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Medical Scientist to join our team in Cork, Ireland.
The role involves assisting in the implementation of a clinical laboratory service that supports the clinical needs of patients.
Essential Criteria:
- Applicants must be a registered Medical Scientist with CORU.
- Applicants must provide evidence of registration by including their CORU certificate with their application.
- Have the required qualifications for a Medical Scientist post as stipulated by the Department of Health.
- Have experience working in the field.
- Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Be flexible and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Be innovative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
Benefits
- Salary from €42,- €67 per annum based on years of experience.
- Permanent, full-time contracts.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all technical/scientific aspects of the work of the Department.
- Participate in ensuring the Quality Management System of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine conforms to standards.
- Perform routine, specialised and research/development work to the highest professional standards.
