Job Overview

TTM Healthcare is recruiting a highly skilled Senior Psychologist to join our client's Children's Disability Network Team in Central Cork. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to children with disabilities, working as part of an interdisciplinary team.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic psychologist with at least five years of postgraduate clinical experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of child development, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience working with children with disabilities is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing children with disabilities, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Additionally, they will be expected to contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the team.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a recognized University QQI Level 8 degree (or equivalent) and a recognized postgraduate professional psychological qualification in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology. They must also have at least two years of full-time satisfactory experience as a staff-grade psychologist in the area of professional psychology. Possessing the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office is essential.
