Job Overview

As a senior software engineer on our automation team, you will be responsible for designing and building complex backend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
  • Collaborating with customers and support engineers to resolve technical issues
  • Mentoring junior engineers to ensure knowledge transfer and growth

Requirements for this role include at least 5 years of professional software development experience, proficiency in writing distributed backend systems in a compiled language, and experience with major cloud provider technologies.

The ideal candidate will have led the launch of a new module, demonstrated expertise in solving complex problems, and possess a strong desire to learn and grow.

Success metrics include shipping code into production within 3 months, contributing to a large project within 6 months, and becoming a subject matter expert within 12 months.
