Front Desk Ambassador

The Park Hotel Kenmare in South West Ireland offers a unique opportunity to join their team as a Front Desk Receptionist.

This role involves greeting and welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and responding to guest inquiries and requests.

You will work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service and maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the front desk area.

In addition to your administrative duties, you will also provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions and services.

To be successful in this role, you will need exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position that requires a proven experience in a front desk or guest service role, preferably in a luxury or five-star setting.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests both in person and via phone or email.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments, namely housekeeping, porters and Reservations to ensure seamless service.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the front desk area.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions and services.

Ambitions:

• Proficiency in hotel software systems (e.g., Guestline, Opera, Hotsoft or a similar PMS).
• Impeccable grooming and professional presentation.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
