- AIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, file systems, and network protocols
- AIX principles, file editing, AIX commands, and file manipulation
- AIX, LINUX, and LINUX shell scripting (BASH)
- GPG, scp, sftp, and ssh
- Routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP
- Backup procedures and storage management
- IBM MQ, system creation, administration, and troubleshooting
- Tomcat on Aix
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong documentation skills
