Mechanical Design Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to fill a critical role in our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in designing and optimizing mechanical systems for water treatment, distribution, and wastewater management projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, as well as 5 years of experience in mechanical design specifically within the water treatment, distribution, or wastewater sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems and components for water treatment facilities, distribution networks, and wastewater systems.
  • Performing detailed calculations and simulations to ensure system performance meets regulatory and client specifications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed designs and modifications.
  • Providing technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Preparing comprehensive design documentation, reports, and technical drawings using CAD software.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to innovate and optimize designs, and effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and present technical information clearly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in mechanical design within water treatment, distribution, or wastewater sectors.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulics, pumps, and piping systems.
