FX Trader Role:

We are seeking a skilled FX Forwards Trader to contribute to delivering superior client outcomes and driving business growth.

The Markets business helps clients formulate, implement and operationalize their investment strategies. It provides clients with financing, execution, liquidity and collateral solutions that are integrated with BNY Mellon's asset servicing ecosystem.

Our full-service FX business accommodates every element of the currency transaction lifecycle, from initiating a position in the spot or derivatives market, to programmatic trading using algorithms or standing instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage FX Forward pricing and risk within the EMEA time zone, ensuring competitive and accurate market making.
  • Conduct advanced data analytics to optimize profitability, enhance trading strategies, and improve overall FX Forwards business performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Quantitative Analysts, and Engineering teams to continuously enhance and innovate the FX Forwards trading platform.
  • Uphold a robust risk management and compliance framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in FX Forwards market making, pricing methodologies, and trading strategies.
  • Proven track record in FX Forward risk management with extensive hands-on experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and business improvement.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple teams.
