Job Title: Control Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Control Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems engineering, automation, and robotics.

The role involves supporting the operation of complex automated equipment by carrying out fault diagnosis and identification in collaboration with the maintenance technician team.

  • Supporting the operation of PLC's, Robotics controllers, PC controllers, Automated instruments, SCADA systems, Data Historians, Serialisation systems
  • Ensuring the functional operation of Floor IT Systems hardware (PC's, HMI's)
  • Data analysis of fault issues to support improvements and upgrades
  • Automation project work as required outside primary support function
  • Identifying faults and improvements through data analysis and working with various PLC systems

Requirements:

  • Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualification or equivalent
  • Other relevant qualifications with suitable training and experience in above systems
  • Instrumentation/Mechatronics Technician with suitable training and experience in above systems

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key duties:

  • Servicing and maintaining automated equipment
  • Carrying out routine diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Collaborating with the maintenance technician team to resolve technical issues
