VAT Consultant Lead

As a VAT Consulting Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team and work closely with senior tax professionals. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in professional tax/VAT environment in industry or practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and growing the firm's VAT service offering
  • Staying up-to-date on changes in VAT legislation and communicating impacts for clients
  • Working as part of a team to advise on tax structuring and advisory projects
  • Managing responses on VAT issues across a diverse range of clients
  • Leading VAT audits and related client support
  • Liaising with international networks in relation to cross-border VAT matters
  • Participating in ad-hoc projects as required
Requirements:
  • Membership of the Irish Tax Institute
  • Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in a professional tax/VAT environment
  • A solid knowledge of VAT and relevant legislation
  • Experience in advising on a wide range of VAT matters
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confidence in dealing with colleagues and clients
