Enterprise Observability Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect to spearhead the design and implementation of end-to-end observability frameworks for large-scale, cloud-native applications.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing architecture for microservices, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and distributed systems.

  • Develop comprehensive observability strategies aligned with business KPIs and DORA metrics.
  • Design and implement telemetry pipelines using OpenTelemetry Collector and Splunk Observability Cloud.
  • Lead the adoption strategy and integration roadmap for OSS tools (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Jaeger) and Splunk-based stacks.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Observability/SRE architecture roles.
  • Strong expertise in Splunk Observability Cloud (SignalFx, Log Observer, APM), OpenTelemetry (SDKs + Collector), and Jaeger / Zipkin for distributed tracing.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and container orchestration (K8s/OpenShift).
  • Able to create clear architecture diagrams and solution roadmaps.
