Clinical Director Position

Tn Ireland is recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist and Clinical Director with a specialism in Forensic Psychiatry. As part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of measures to meet regulatory standards and compliance with the Mental Health Commission.
Your key areas of focus will include:
- Working closely with the Clinical Directors of ID and MH Services
- Providing cover for Clinical Directors & Consultant colleagues' periods of leave as necessary
- Taking clinical responsibility for patients who are residing in community-based and ID residences and centres
You will also contribute to clinical governance for the services provided at both Approved Centres when covering annual leave, using your expertise to develop service strategy and ensure alignment with client needs.
To succeed in this role, you will need valid IMC specialist registration in psychiatry or be eligible for registration. A right to work in Ireland is also required, with work permits potentially available for suitably qualified doctors.
