We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in scoping and translating business needs for exciting new capabilities within the financial services industry.
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Business Analyst with a strong track record of engaging with key stakeholders during requirements/design project phases.
You will produce functional design documents and work with colleagues to develop time expectations/quotations as needed.
This role requires conducting requirements gathering workshops and developing comprehensive specifications based on those requirements for relevant teams.
A technical Business Analyst role, you will have past experience producing detailed technical specifications and the ability to understand the bigger picture in terms of the overall solution for customers including both their present and potential future requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Gain a deep understanding of business requirements and objectives and translate them into detailed user journeys, stories, epics, process flows, and solution designs
- Create documentation that will serve as working guides used to build solutions
- Support internal stakeholders in understanding requirements, acting as a bridge between requirements and development/production and technical implementation
- Play a key role in internal workshops to flush out requirements and propose ideas based on your experience and knowledge of the capabilities of the business and its intellectual property to improve customer and end-user experiences
You will be responsible for leading not only the initial project phase but subsequent requirements as they are identified as the project progresses.
Implement best practice procedures as well as tools and techniques of business analysis. Experience working with large and often complex systems is a plus.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the FinTech or financial services industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a software development environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
