Job Overview:
Eli Lilly and Company is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Limerick, Ireland. As a key member of our global procurement organization, you will play a critical role in supporting site readiness from a procurement perspective.

About the Role:
This position reports to the Director, Limerick Site Procurement and will be responsible for coordinating key procurement activities, establishing vendor relationships, and transitioning to ongoing operational procurement activities once the site is operational.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and negotiate agreements and contracts with maintenance, lab, and production operations suppliers to minimize risk and costs.
• Responsible for RFIs/RFPs/RFQs in indirect and local capital procurement areas.
• Drive alignment with Global Procurement on procurement activities by utilizing Category Management strategy.
• Ensure technology utilization in our procurement strategy by driving Ariba Catalogs and Guided Buying content purchase of goods & services.
• Work with business stakeholders to develop business needs and KPIs to measure vendor performance in delivery of goods and services.
• Drive negotiation and implementation of outsourced agreements and participate in post-implementation governance activities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's level 8 degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or similar field.
- 3+ years experience in pharma manufacturing procurement role.
- Previous supply chain, manufacturing, and/or procurement experience.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating and drafting supplies and services contracts.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize responsibilities, and be action-oriented.
- Independent decision maker with ability to influence diverse groups, both internally and externally.
- High proficiency in PC/IT skills (including Microsoft office skills).
- Strong teamwork, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated learning agility and ability/willingness to adapt to continual change within a startup environment.
