Catering Assistant Position

Excel Recruitment is seeking experienced and skilled catering staff to join our team on a casual basis in Wexford. The role offers excellent flexibility, great pay, and the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team with various shifts available.

As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for food preparation, ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of food preparation areas, serving and clearing up duties, and organizing food preparation spaces.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in catering, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with basic food preparation and portion control
  • Organize and maintain food preparation areas
  • Serve and assist patients/customers
  • Understand and follow daily menu procedures
  • Ensure chefs are equipped with necessary tools and materials
  • Be prepared to carry out additional duties outside of general responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Catering Assistant
  • Good level of spoken English
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Excellent time management skills and strong work ethic
