About the Role

Caregivers are required to support individuals with daily living activities and enable them to live independent lives in line with HIQA national standards.

Successful candidates will work in a residential setting, empowering service users to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • To empower Service Users to live independent lives within their residential home and community.
  • To transport service users, facilitating access to all daily living activities.
  • Maintain professional communication and relationships with the team.
  • Be aware of safe working conditions and implement safe work practices, immediately reporting potential hazards, incidents, and concerns.
  • Engage positively and actively in team meetings, supervisions, training, and team events.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A relevant QQI qualification (minimum Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent).
  • Experience working with service users in the disability sector.
  • Applicants must be aged 18+.
  • A full clean driving license and access to own transport.
  • An excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Familiarity with HIQA standards.
  • Work or student experience in social care or a relevant sector.
