Job Title: Director of Sales

Job Description:
O'Callaghan Collection is a luxury hospitality brand that values exceptional service and personalized experiences for its guests. As a Director of Sales, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and development within the leisure travel market while also supporting sales activities across all market segments.

Sales Strategy & Planning:
The successful candidate will develop and execute targeted sales strategies for the leisure, MICE, and corporate segments, aligning with the overall goals of O'Callaghan Collection. This includes identifying emerging trends within each segment, tailoring offerings to meet the needs of leisure clients, corporate clients, and event planners.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales strategies for the leisure, MICE, and corporate segments.
2. Represent O'Callaghan Collection at trade shows, independent sales missions, and other strategic face-to-face sales opportunities to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
3. Work closely with the marketing department to develop leisure promotions, packages, and marketing efforts.
4. Cultivate relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, independent travel advisors, and group organisers to increase room nights and overall revenue in the leisure segment.
5. Oversee the preparation of proposals, contracts, and presentations to potential clients for both leisure and corporate groups.

Departmental Management & Leadership:
The Director of Sales will support the Group Director of Sales in overseeing the daily management of the sales department, including monitoring sales activities, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring team alignment with revenue goals. This includes leading, motivating, and guiding the sales team to meet targets across leisure, MICE, and corporate segments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years of sales experience in luxury hospitality, with a strong emphasis on leisure travel.
* Demonstrated success managing consortia and high-end leisure accounts.
* Strong network of relationships within the luxury travel industry.
* Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Working Conditions:
Hybrid work model with a combination of remote and on-site responsibilities. Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30. Flexibility required outside of core hours to accommodate site inspections, client events, sales trips, and other business needs.
