Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on contractual matters at general and project levels, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders, clients, and commercial teams.
- Process contractual claims and associated records in a timely manner, minimizing potential losses.
- Identify opportunities to maximize revenue and minimize costs through proactive negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with project cash management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Offer guidance and support on project correspondence, maintaining effective communication channels.
- Negotiate prices and terms with subcontractors and suppliers, fostering strong business relationships.
- Ensure timely closure of final accounts, guaranteeing accuracy and precision.
- Prepare and review documents for subcontractors and suppliers, streamlining the workflow.
- Review and update risk registers, variation trackers, and extension of time tracker sheets monthly, monitoring project progress.
- Variation measurement and pricing, optimizing project outcomes.
- You should hold a professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, demonstrating expertise in your field.
- You must have at least 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor on construction projects, showcasing your skills and knowledge.
- Strong communication skills are essential for working on large-scale sites with high headcounts and sub-contractors.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, clients, and commercial teams is crucial for success.
- You will need excellent time management skills to meet challenging work goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills are crucial for effective collaboration.
- A thorough understanding of the construction industry and site work is necessary for success.
